ARTIST STATEMENT
For my upcoming show at Cami Winery and Art in March, 2023…For this particular show, during the Mustard Festival, I had already painted this mustard color in many of my pieces!
Lately, I realize I am a storyteller, sans words, but with pictures on a canvas.
I write suggestive stories. Within a piece, there are various chapters of areas; each chapter talks to all the other chapters on the “page”.
They all correlate, relating to each other via all of the possible language of color, design, shape, texture and strokes.
